This magnificent Chateau lies in the Perigord region of the Dordogne. Originally built in 1840 and recently refurbished to the highest standards the chateau features antique furnishings, original artworks and designer décor making it the epitome of luxury.

Chateau Durantaye was once the palatial home of Marashal Bugeaud, the Duke of d’Isly, and was given to him as a token of appreciation for his dedication to France. Duke d’Isly served under Napoloen and is famed for plotting the victorious Algerian war in 1836. A host of statues and landmarks dedicated to the Duke can be found throughout France.
